Born and raised in Kansas, I have been sewing since I was a little girl, being taught by my mother. In 1999 I made my first teddy bears and memory bears, at this same time I was introduced to and joined the Oz-Some teddy bear guild. The next several years I spent honing my craft as a teddy bear artist. I am always interested in trying a new craft which has led me to knitting , crochet, needle felting, pottery, jewelry making and much more. I love a challenge and am a bit of a perfectionist which causes me to create some interesting creatures at times.
